At the time of writing there is very little information about what actually comes in the box so I wasn't fully sure what I was going to find. If you're like me and didn't own the original Concordia then you may find it a little confusing, so here's a list of what comes in the box. This is an English / German version of the game with resources in the box to support both languages. Judging by the contents and all of the information I can find online, this game supersedes the original version of Concordia and is fully compatible with all expansions including Salsa.

2 double sided quad-fold game boards (Hellas / Ionium, Cyprus / Imperium)
1 Game setup instructions (double sided, 1 side English, 1 side German)
2 Game rule booklets (1 English, 1 German)
1 Card display board (comes in 2 jigsaw pieces, and is double sided)
1 Praefectus Magnus / Pantheon card
6 Warehouse boards
2 decks of 110 game cards (one English, one German)

74 cardboard coin tokens in the following denominations:
- 23 x 1 Sestertius
- 21 x 2 Sestertii
- 16 x 5 Sestertii
- 14 x 10 Sestertii

30 cardboard city markers:
- 8 brick city markers
- 7 grain city markers
- 6 tool city markers
- 5 wine city markers
- 4 cloth city markers

24 cardboard bonus markers:
- 3 brick bonus markers
- 6 grain bonus markers,
- 6 tool bonus markers
- 5 wine bonus markers
- 4 cloth bonus markers

132 wooden player pieces - 22 in each of 6 player colours (red, yellow, green, blue, black, white):
- 1 scoring marker
- 3 land colonists

Plus one wooden turn order marker

102 wooden goods tokens (rules booklet in the box says 100 but I had 102):
- 24 brick tokens
- 21 grain tokens
- 18 tool tokens
- 18 wine tokens
- 21 cloth tokens

I won't go into the gameplay other than to say I enjoyed it very much and found this to be a great game. The production quality is very good, cardboard boards and tokens are of a good thickness and the wooden tokens feel high quality. The game boards are very large as is the box itself, you could easily fit another 1-2 game boards in there, and even more if you took out the provided cardboard insert. The insert itself isn't the best but it's good enough. Only two resealable plastic bags are provided so I ended up adding 4 more.

All in all this game is good value for money with the high quality components and the randomised setup and 2 double sided boards providing plenty of variability between games. I would definitely recommend.

Great game, crappy shipment

The game is like the Original Concordia + the Venus extension. It has 2 double sided boards (4 in total, with 1 of them there's a 'small' version too, so 5), so read up on the maps on boardgamegeek.

What is bad is the shipment from Amazon UK. The game was not packed well, and since the game box is heavy, it arrived with 2 of the corners torn, underneath the celophane wrapping. According to boardgamegeek, this hapenned to several people who ordered from Amazon UK, so think again.

Concordia is a classic game, it was more expensive on Amazon but we had a few orders coming so it was easier to add it to Prime for ease of being in to receive the packages.
